About this file

This document appears to be an information packet about roadwork for the Washakie Ranger District in the Shoshone National Forest. The scope of work includes roadway reconditioning, removal and replacement of existing culverts, installation of new culverts, placement and compaction of aggregate, and maintenance and reconstruction of drainage features on several forest service roads. The work is estimated to span approximately 33.5 miles across 8 different forest service roads. Specific activities include placing tons of compacted aggregate, removing and replacing culverts, and cleaning existing culverts. This roadwork appears to be tied to a federal contract opportunity, Solicitation Number 1240LU24R0013, for an Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for road and bridge construction services for the USFS Rocky Mountain Region (Region 2). The MATOC solicitation is expected to be issued in late July 2024 as a total small business set-aside, with a minimum of 10 individual MATOC contracts expected to be awarded.
