About this file

The file is a set of pre-bid site visit notes for a water system replacement project at Flaming Gorge in Ashley National Forest, sponsored by the Department of Agriculture Forest Service under the GAOA (Great American Outdoors Act) program. The project involves excavation and utility trench work, with specific notes emphasizing that excavation will be paid at unit prices regardless of surface or subsurface conditions, including rock or obstructions.

Key procurement details include a proposal due date of July 30, 2025, at 5:00 PM Mountain Daylight Time, to be submitted via email to Patricia Newberry. The solicitation (1240LT25R0019) has undergone two amendments, which added revised RFP documents, clarified question submission deadlines, announced a site visit on July 8, and extended the response deadline. The site visit was conducted at Cedar Springs Marina, with attendees walking the entire project site and finding that all questions could be answered by referencing the provided drawings and specifications.
