About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the GMUG NF Culvert Contract issued by the US Department of Agriculture Forest Service, updated August 3, 2026.
The contractor must procure, deliver, and offload corrugated steel pipe culverts to the USDA Forest Service North Delta Administrative site located at 1560 H 50 Road, Delta, Colorado within 60 days of contract award. The specific culvert requirements include three types of 16-gauge galvanized spiral corrugated steel pipe (CSP) with connecting bands: 18-inch x 24-foot, 24-inch x 24-foot, and 36-inch x 20-foot configurations, with quantities specified in a separate Schedule of Items (Bid Schedule). All culverts must conform to AASHTO M 36 and either AASHTO M 218, M 274, or M 289 standards. Delivery is restricted to Monday through Thursday between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, and the contractor must provide a minimum of ten working days' advance notice to the technical specialist to coordinate Forest Service personnel for acceptance. The contractor is responsible for all procurement costs and is recommended to rent a forklift for safe offloading; any culverts damaged prior to or during offloading will be rejected. No government-furnished property is provided. The SOW indicates this contract represents a similar scope to one awarded in 2025.
