This document is a Standard Equipment Specification for Command Vehicles issued by the USDA Forest Service - Rocky Mountain Region. The specification details comprehensive requirements for emergency vehicle equipment, including specific lighting configurations, siren/switch controllers, radio harness installation, and vehicle striping. Key equipment specifications include a 48"-60" LED lightbar with multiple color and flash modes, dual-color warning lights on various vehicle zones, a 100-watt siren speaker with PA system, a SoundOff Signal nERGY 400 Series Handheld Remote Siren Controller with 12 programmable switches, and a vehicle-specific radio console with mounting provisions for a Bendix King DMH radio.

The document also mandates detailed radio harness installation with precise wiring requirements, an aftermarket battery disconnect system, and specific 3M reflective striping guidelines for vehicle exteriors. Striping includes white and green reflective stripes on sides, unit and equipment designators on front/rear/roof, and a standardized door decal design. The specification requires the contractor to provide all owner's manuals, wiring diagrams, and warranty information in both electronic and hard copy formats. The comprehensive requirements aim to ensure uniformity and functionality of command vehicles for the USDA Forest Service's Rocky Mountain Region.
