QUESTION 1. Has a site visit been scheduled.
Answer 1 UPDATED:
A Site Visit has been scheduled for Tuesday, August 30 at 1:00 p.m. MDT.
WHERE: Wall Ranger District, 710 Main St Wall, SD 57790

SITE VISIT AND QUESTIONS:
ALL QUESTIONS SHALL BE ADDRESSED TO THE CONTRACT SPECIALIST.
If during the site visit you have questions, please write them down and send via e-mail to the Contract Specialist at catherine.sullivan@usda.gov.
ON-SITE PERSONNEL WILL NOT ANSWER ANY CONTRACT QUESTIONS.
QUESTION 2. Can I perform cleaning between 6 a.m. – 9 a.m.?
Answer 2:
No, per PWS Para. 8.:
Janitorial services shall be performed outside of business hours, which are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mountain Time. All janitorial Services shall be performed during the week (Tuesday and Friday) between the hours of 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Monday thru Friday, except legal holidays or as specified above for the District Office (DO) and Shop.
Note: PWS has been updated to remove the following sentence:
“Some flexibility with the days of the week and times such as earlier start and end times may be negotiated.”
QUESTION 3 Is this a new contract?
Answer 3:
Yes this will be a new contract. There have been previous contracts for these services.
QUESTION 4. What is the anticipated start date?
Answer 4:

QUESTION 5. How many people work in the cleanable area.
Answer 5:
There are currently sixteen (16) people that work in the office. Approximately five (5) of them will be relocating to a temporary office so the number will be more like eleven (11).
QUESTION 6. How many bathrooms? How many Showers?
Answer 6:
There are a total of four (4) bathrooms. The District Office has three (3) bathrooms with one of having a shower. The other bathroom is the Shop Restroom which also contains a shower.
The shower in the District Office does need to be cleaned, however, the shower in the Shop Restroom does not need to be cleaned. The Shop Restroom is a detached office from the District Office and not shown in layout.
QUESTION 7. Is there a reception area?
Answer 7: Yes, see PWS. Para. 20.A.9. Also, identified as Lobby in District Office Layout.
QUESTION 8. How many individual offices are there?
Answer 8: There are five (5) offices. One office contains one (1) person, and the other four offices each hold two (2) people.
QUESTION 9. Are there any break rooms?
Answer 9: Yes, there is a break room in the conference room.
QUESTION 10. Is Cleaning done after hours? Will a key be provided?
