About this file

This document is an amendment to a federal contract opportunity for the Deschutes National Forest Crescent Sidewalk Repairs project. The amendment requires the contractor to remove and replace 9 end cap columns without light posts, and to repair 6 concrete columns with light posts using a hand-mixed mortar suited for the local climate. All existing light posts are currently functional, so no electrical work is required.

The original solicitation is for a firm-fixed-price contract to replace 500 feet of sidewalk curbs, repair 6 concrete columns, and remove and replace 316 square feet of concrete under a gate at the Crescent Ranger Station in Crescent, Oregon. The period of performance is 60 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed, estimated for September 3, 2024. The magnitude of the construction project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Payment bonds are required.
