| Based on the project description there are two metals alumunimum or steel? Do you want aluminum or steel? | We can technically use either as long as they meet the weight and strength requirements. If steel, we would need a minimum 16 gauge and .75 pounds PER FOOT (so the entire post would weigh about 4.5 lbs.) If aluminum, we would need a minimum 13 gauge and a minimum weight per post of 2.3 lbs for the entire post. That said, we would prefer steel. |
| Per the drawings they state 16' Cold rolled steel however, based on experience with the FS they havee Galvanized Steel. Could you please clarify? | If the contractor elects to submit a quote for steel posts, they would need to be made of Cold- Rolled steel. |
| Solicitation or drawing does not seem to have a call out for any coatings of material. We are assuming these are raw steel with no exterior paint or coatings, is that correct? | No paint or coatings are necessary |
| Is there a required surface treatment? | No |
| We don’t seem to find any TAB dimensions. We see the TAB but can not find the dimensions. | Anchor tabs are 0.5" x 0.5" |
