About this file

This document contains vendor questions and government responses regarding two USDA Forest Service solicitations (1240BD25Q0015 & 1240BD25Q0018) for vault toilet pumping services. The Q&A clarifies that the facilities are vault toilets without flush capabilities or handwashing facilities, and vendors should quote prices based on fully pumping the on-site vaults during each service trip.

Key details include: vendors are not required to quote all locations, service timing will be specified by Recreation staff at time of request, maps of locations are provided with solicitations on SAM.gov, and pricing should account for travel from vendor's base to the vault location and back. The exhibit shows an example location (Mirror Lake Trailhead) with one double vault of 1000-gallon capacity, requiring service twice annually, located 10 miles from Zigzag Ranger District in Rhododendron, OR. The performance period runs through 04/30/2025.
