Questions and Answers
Q1. "Will the slabs require any insulation layers?"
A1. No
Q2. "Can you confirm the FF is to be at least 2 inches above existing grade? It's blurry on the sheet"
A2. The finished floor of the 16' x 18' slab shall be at least 2" above existing grade.
Q3. "Any chances you could provide drawings. Since I know it mentioned foundation. Could you please clarify if there will be any need for turn down foundation."
A3. All available information has been posted to SAM.gov. Turn down foundation is not necessary.
Q4. "What is the % for performance bond your agency is requiring? Is it the 5% of the total bid proposal since its also requesting for cashiers check?"
A4. Please refer to Section I.4 ALTERNATIVE PAYMENT PROTECTIONS (FAR 52.228-13) (JUL 2000) of the solicitation. The Contractor shall submit one of the following payment protections: (i) A payment bond. or (ii) Certified or cashier¿s check, bank draft, Post Office money order, or currency. The amount of the payment protection shall be 100 percent of the contract price.
