About this file

This document is a pre-solicitation notice for the BCLH Stewardship IRSC Phase 2 project, which will be awarded under the Stewardship Authority. The objectives of this project are to reduce the risks of hazardous fuels along important access routes within the 2020 fire-affected road system. Key work requirements include cutting and removing fire-killed trees within 100 feet of roads (176 acres mandatory, 300 acres optional), falling and leaving hazard trees in special measure areas (161 acres mandatory, 332 acres optional), performing small fuels treatment within 30 feet of roads (200 acres mandatory, 257 acres optional), and road reconstruction and maintenance activities. The mandatory road reconstruction work is estimated between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000, and the optional work between $500,000 and $1,000,000. A site visit is scheduled for October 5, 2024, and the final solicitation is anticipated to be issued on or around February 21, 2025, with award planned for April 25, 2025. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price contract using a best value source selection method.
