About this file
The document is a Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) for the Crolo Mechanical Fuels Reduction project, detailing specific performance requirements and measurement standards for mechanical fuels reduction work. The QASP outlines five key task areas: Leave Tree Selection, Cut Tree, Slash Treatment, Leave Tree Damage, and Contractor's Quality Control, with each task having defined standards, acceptable quality levels, and measurement methods.
For each task, the plan specifies 90% compliance requirements measured through 100% visual inspections and random plot sampling. Sanctions for non-compliance include rework, partial payment, or no payment depending on the extent of performance deviation. The Contractor's quality control program will be evaluated, with their quality control expected to be within +5/-5% of the government's quality assurance, and performance will be reflected positively or negatively in the overall performance evaluation.
