About this file
This document is a pre-solicitation notice for the Rivbulio Fire Recovery Integrated Resource Service Contract (IRSC) solicitation. The Rivbulio IRSC will implement roadside hazard tree abatement, road repair, and reconstruction work in response to a disaster declaration on the Mount Hood National Forest in Oregon. The objective is to reduce roadside fuel loading and provide safe access for public road users.
The project area is estimated at 2,314 acres with 48,901 CCF of biomass/cull material across four distinct project areas: Hillockburn-Memaloose, Fish Creek, Bull Complex, and Olallie Lake. The Forest Service will hold a pre-solicitation site visit on August 6, 2024 and plans to issue the Request for Proposals the following week. The contract will be awarded using a best value source selection method as a firm fixed price commercial services contract. Bonding requirements will apply to the road construction work items. The anticipated period of performance is through December 31, 2027.
