About this file
This document is a pre-solicitation notice for the Rivbulio Fire Recovery Integrated Resource Service Contract (IRSC), a stewardship contract to be awarded by the USDA Forest Service. The contract will implement roadside hazard tree abatement, road repair, and reconstruction work in response to a FEMA disaster declaration.
The project area is located in the Clackamas Ranger District of the Mount Hood National Forest, southeast of Estacada, Oregon. The total project area is estimated at 2,314 acres, with 48,901 CCF of biomass/cull material. Four project areas are identified - Hillockburn-Memaloose, Fish Creek, Bull Complex, and Olallie. A pre-solicitation site visit is scheduled for August 6, 2024. The Forest Service plans to issue the Request for Proposals in the week of August 5, 2024, and award the firm fixed price commercial services contract using a best value source selection method. Bid guarantees and payment/performance bonds will be required for the road construction work. The anticipated period of performance is through December 31, 2027.
