1. How many total pipeline crossings require padding? What is the total volume of material required?
There are 4 Transwestern pipeline crossings which are currently padded to an adequate depth.
One addional crossing on the 9215G/9215H would require addional 19 CY of padding should the contractor elect to make use of that road. There is also an El Paso Natural Gas Pipeline crossing further south on the 171 that is currently padded to an adequate depth.

However, because of the esmated value of this contract, a Subcontracng Plan is required per 52.219-9 and applies to large businesses only; not applicable for small business concerns. The clause requires that a subcontracng plan be negoated within the me specified by the CO and failure to submit and negoate a subcontracng plan shall make the Offeror ineligible for award of the contract. See page 33 of the solicitaon for link to clause.

This project is in a high-priority area within the Rio de Flag Watershed and is located in close proximity to the Kachina Peaks Wilderness. Benchmarks were included to ensure mely compleon of thinning within the project area.

6. What are the bonding requirements for this project? No bonds are required for this project.
