About this file

This is Addendum No. 02 to an Invitation to Bid issued by the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office for uniforms and uniform-related items under solicitation LPSO139-2026, scheduled to open on August 17, 2026 at 2:00 PM. The addendum corrects clarifications regarding delivery requirements for uniforms, which include cotton deputy shirts, trousers, tactical BDU shirts and pants, Gore-Tex jackets, dress uniforms, polo shirts, shorts, ties, badges, metal insignia, epaulettes, safety vests, gloves, and accessories. The revised delivery terms specify that standard orders must be delivered within ten working days from the date of order, while emergency purchases may be requested with delivery within eight hours. The addendum clarifies that vendors responsible for timely deliveries may receive exceptions for events, disruptions, or delays outside their control, and specifically addresses whether out-of-state vendors are exempt from the eight-hour emergency delivery requirement by directing bidders to the response to Question 3. The original bid solicitation includes a 24-month initial contract term with two optional 12-month renewal extensions for a maximum of 48 months total.

Bids must be submitted electronically through www.publicpurchase.com by August 17, 2026. All pricing must be submitted on an Excel spreadsheet on an F.O.B. destination basis with freight and shipping included. Vendors must register with the parish Vendor Access system and provide proof of commercial general liability insurance with limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate, workers compensation insurance, and automobile liability with $1,000,000 combined single limit. The Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office maintains Net 30 payment terms and is exempt from state and local sales tax. Louisiana preference under Louisiana Revised Statute 38:2251 is available for products produced or manufactured in Louisiana. Award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder based on conformity with specifications, and the Sheriff's Office reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to purchase items from state contracts. Bidders who have already submitted bids must acknowledge receipt of this addendum or submit revisions prior to the bid opening.

Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office Bid LPSO139-2026

August 5, 2026

Addendum No. 02

Your reference is directed to LPSO139-2026 for the Invitation to Bid (ITB) on Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office uniforms, which is currently scheduled to open at 2:00 PM on August 17, 2026.

This addendum corrects an error on Addendum No. 1, in the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office response to

Question 4, “Is there an exception for an out-of-state vendor that cannot meet the eight-hour emergency delivery requirement?”

Vendor Question #3:

LPSO139-2026 - Uniforms

Reference Document: Uniforms – 2026 page 5/Delivery

Please clarify the eight-hour emergency delivery requirement. Uniforms must first be ordered in the correct size and often embroidered, making that timeframe impractical. Most agencies keep a small stock of common sizes for emergencies. Would that be acceptable, or would the eight-hour delivery requirement apply only to undecorated items already in stock?

Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office Response Question #3:

On Page 5/Delivery – Delivery section is revised to read:

Delivery shall be on an as needed basis, and shall be delivered within ten working days from the date of order.

Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office may make emergency purchases with delivery requested within an eight-hour period. While Vendor is responsible for making timely deliveries in accordance with bid proposal delivery terms, exceptions will be evaluated for events, disruptions, or delays that occur outside of the vendor’s control.

Vendor Question #4:
