About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for Solicitation 1232SA26Q1458. The document addresses a single clarification regarding pump specifications in the Statement of Work (SOW).
The question sought clarification on whether the SOW requirement for a 7.5 HP Goulds pump with output of 55–65 GPM referred to the pump's rated/nominal capacity or the minimum actual field output under operational conditions. The vendor noted that a proposed Goulds 65 GPM pump has a pump-curve output of approximately 58 GPM, but actual field output may range from 50–55 GPM at 50 PSI depending on drawdown and elevation. The government's answer clarifies that the 55–65 GPM requirement refers to the pump's rated/normal capacity of 65 GPM, not the minimum actual field output.
