Q: The requirement document says we need to provide 6 pigs per litter from 18 litters. Do you need 3 separate wean ages within each litter or wean 6 litters in each age window?
A: It will require 18 litters, with 3 separate wean ages within each litter, and 36 pigs weaned at each of the different ages within the litters:
• 36 pigs weaned between 17-19 days of age. Composition is 2 piglets from each of the 18 litters.
• 36 pigs weaned between 22-24 days of age. Composition is 2 piglets from each of the 18 litters.
• 36 pigs weaned between 27-29 days of age. Composition is 2 piglets from each of the 18 litters.
