About this file

This is a Vendor Questions & Answers document for a federal contract opportunity regarding genotyping services for cotton samples.

The procurement requires genotyping services with a minimum of 15,000 SNP (Single Nucleotide Polymorphism) markers featuring known chromosomal positions evenly distributed across cotton chromosomes. The markers do not need to be gene-based but must meet the 15,000 marker minimum threshold. The array must be suitable for U.S.-cultivated Gossypium hirsutum (upland cotton) and must include standards and blanks for quality control purposes. This is a new procurement with no incumbent contractor. The scope of work is not based on a previous contract iteration.
