About this file

This is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document providing clarifications on contract requirements for a grounds maintenance service.

The document addresses four key inquiries regarding service delivery and operational requirements. First, there are no seasonal adjustments to mowing frequency for pricing purposes. Second, pesticide application frequency within approximately 5,000 square feet of treatment areas is variable and dependent on weed growth, as specified in PWS section 9.2.4. Third, the Government provides all equipment and onsite storage space, eliminating the contractor's need to remove equipment from the property after each service visit. Fourth, deficiency correction requirements remain unchanged from PWS section 14.3, maintaining the three-business-day correction window specified in the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) with no additional response time service level requirements.

Attachment 6 QandA

Are there any seasonal changes to mowing frequency that should be accounted for in pricing? No

Can the Government provide clarification on expected pesticide application frequency within the approximate 5,000 sq ft treatment areas? PWS section 9.2.4 clarifies this as “Variable to weed growth.”

Will the Government provide storage space onsite for equipment, or must the contractor remove equipment after each service visit? The Government provides the equipment, so the storage space is already onsite. There is no need for a service provider to remove any equipment from the property.

Are there any service level requirements related to response time for deficiency corrections beyond the three-business-day correction window noted in the QASP? No change to PWS section 14.3.
