About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document associated with RFQ 1232SA26Q0117 for a Large Pure Water System (RO) solicitation. The document does not address required products or services directly; rather, it clarifies a specification ambiguity raised by a potential vendor regarding equipment dimensions.

The vendor questioned the stated footprint specification of 48.8" L x 21.4" W x 21.3" H, noting that a system producing 2,400 liters per day could not physically fit within those dimensions if 21.3" represents the height. The vendor requested confirmation of the correct dimensional order and specifically whether 48.8 inches should be the height rather than the length. The document includes two photographs of an existing on-site tank and notes that the tank has been in place for years. Additionally, the vendor inquired about the specifications of the on-site storage tank, including whether it is a bladder or atmospheric system, and indicated a preference against wall-mounted system configurations. No formal response or clarification is provided in this Q&A excerpt.

Text version

On the Specifications page, item #3 states that the footprint must fit within a 48.8” L x 21.4” W x 21.3” H space. I wanted to make sure that is accurate because a system that is only 21.3” high and produces 2,400 liters per day is unheard-of. The only thing that *might* fit is a tabletop POU system but those cannot produce that kind of volume. Could the dimensions be listed in the wrong order and 48.8” is the height?

It should be 48.8” for the height.

48.8”H x 21.4” W x 21.3” D Is there any specs of the tank on-site that is to be used? Do we know if it’s a bladder or atmospheric?

Not sure. Below are photos. This tank has been here for years. We don’t want a wall mount system for several reasons.

Confirm the intended order of these dimensions as Width x Depth (Length) x Height (W x D x H)? Specifically, what dimension is 48.8 inches (width, depth/length, or height)?

It should be 48.8” for the height.
