About this file
This document is a solicitation with detailed specifications for two scientific research instruments: the Maxwell RSC System automated purification instrument and the GloMax® Explorer System instrument. The Maxwell RSC System specifications require an automated nucleic acid extraction instrument capable of processing 1-16 samples per run, with broad sample type compatibility (including blood, serum, plasma, tissues, and wastewater), paramagnetic particle separation, compact design, and heated elution. The GloMax® Explorer System specifications call for a microplate assay instrument with integration with Promega protocols, a 9-log luminescence dynamic range, support for Dual Luciferase and NanoLuc Assays, and capabilities to read 6-384 well plate formats. Both instruments require global technical support and a one-year warranty. Delivery is specified as FOB to USDA/ARS at 3026 Bee Biology Rd., Davis, CA 95616, indicating this is a federal procurement for scientific research equipment.
