STATEMENT OF WORK TO INLCUDE FLOOR PLANS
Project: Vaults 1, 4, 5, 6 and 7 Solicitation NO. 12-3144-19-R-0004

Description/Specification:
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, and supervision necessary to replace/repair/service vaults. Scrape, prep and paint floors and walls in Vaults 4, 5, 6 and 7. Remove and replace the existing light fixtures in Vaults 4, 5, 6 and 7 with new. Sweep and clean the floors in Vault 1. In Vault 6 one exhaust fan is not working and needs to be replaced. Clean all areas upon completion of project.
· Inspect the designated Vaults to determine any damage.
· Remove all unnecessary equipment and broom clean debris.
· Scrape, prep and paint the floors and walls in Vaults 4, 5, 6 and 7.
· Remove and replace the light fixtures in Vaults 4, 5, 6 and 7.
· Remove and replace the damaged exhaust fan in Vault 6.
· Remove and replace existing sump pumps with new Vaults 4-7.
· Remove the existing curbs surrounding the sump pumps and replace with new.
· Install new discharge piping with check and gate valves at each new sump pump.
· All work shall be conducted during normal and off hours.
· Put all removed systems back in service and test for proper operations.
· Clean all areas upon completion of projects.
· The Contractor shall repair or replace any damage to the existing conditions caused by his actions. Repair and replacement of damaged conditions shall match the integrity of the adjacent area. All required work shall be provided at no additional cost to the Government.
· Contractor shall ensure final construction meets current AIA Design Guidelines, FAR regulations and current appropriate construction codes, standards, and regulations relative the United States Department of Agriculture.
· The Contractor shall repair or replace any damage to the existing conditions caused by their actions. Repair and replacement of damaged conditions shall match the integrity of the adjacent area. All required work shall be provided at no additional cost to the Government.
· Contractor shall immediately notify USDA safety personnel of all accidents/incidents involving employee use of and/or damage/injury to facilities, equipment, or personnel.
· Contractor shall adhere to all OSHA standards.
· Contractor shall ensure final construction meets current local codes, AIA Design Guidelines, FAR regulations and current appropriate construction, plumbing, electrical and life safety codes, standards, and regulations relative the United States Department of Agriculture.
· Contractor shall comply with all federal, state, and local environmental laws, and USDA policies and regulations to include but not limited to Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Safe Water Drinking Act (SWDA), the Clean Air Act (CAA), and Federal Facilities Compliance Act (FFCA).
· The use, handling, storage, and disposal of all toxic, hazardous, special or radiological wastes/materials shall be IAW all local, state, federal, and USDA environmental regulations and procedures.
All proposals should include past performance references along a line item cost breakdown of your final proposal amount. Please submit all proposals to my attention via email no later than 5:00 p.m. December 24, 2018.
Site Visit: 10:30 a.m. on December 19, 2019. The site visit is NOT MANDATORY but is highly recommended.
Location: 1400 Independence Avenue SW, Washington DC Wing 3 (visitors entrance) someone will be there to get you once you are signed in with security.
