Specification Soybean Seed 2025
1.0 Specifications Description: Brevant Soybean Seed or equivalent Variety and Quantity of Each: Soybeans:
200 Units – Brevant 342EE (140,000 seeds per unit, bulk totes) Each item is required to meet or exceed the agronomic characteristics as sample varieties specified. These characteristics are to include:
1. Disease tolerance or resistance to white mold, sudden death syndrome (SDS), iron deficiency, and phytophthora
2. Relative maturity dates of 3.4 and 4.0
3. Herbicide tolerance of E3 - 2,4-D choline, glyphosate, and glufosinate
4. Well-suited for the Mid-Atlantic region - USDA Hardiness Zones 5-7, with field trial performance data published by unbiased variety testing programs such as local extension or university publications with average or better yields to other varieties in the same trials

35 bags – Brevant 342EE (140,000 seeds per unit/bag, @ 50 pounds per bag) Each item is required to meet or exceed the agronomic characteristics as sample varieties specified. These characteristics are to include:
1. Disease tolerance or resistance to white mold, sudden death syndrome (SDS), iron deficiency, and phytophthora
2. Relative maturity dates of 3.4 and 4.0
3. Herbicide tolerance of E3 - 2,4-D choline, glyphosate, and glufosinate
4. Well-suited for the Mid-Atlantic region - USDA Hardiness Zones 5-7, with field trial performance data published by unbiased variety testing programs such as local extension or university publications with average or better yields to other varieties in the same trials
2.0 Location Pickup/Delivery Requirements:
Seed dealer must be located within 60 miles of Beltsville, MD 20705 to allow pick up and return of unused seed by USDA staff or provide free pickup, delivery, and return of seed and containers. Seed must be available for pickup by April 1, 2024 or delivered to Beltsville Facility by such dates.
