Request of Information (RFI).

Continuation 2.22.2023

Q1.) Are the paper maps to be cleaned from the mold OR can they be tossed, and you’ll recreate them?

A1.) They will remain right where they are. They will not be cleaned. There are no duplicates. We must preserve them.

They’re wrapped in a special protective thick brown paper. Many crumble when you pick them up.

I think nothing will be achieved by vacuuming them.-TC

Q2.) They’ll clean the books from mold and then put in a plastic bag near the place they took them from.

Is this ok?

A2.) This is not a bad case of mold. I propose wiping down all surfaces, maybe walls in the main area, but not going into drawers and filing cabinets. No plastic bags.

You are referring to the flat files? Is that what is shelving units? No, they are wrapped thick brown paper.

Q3.)Are they removing all the carpet on the 2nd floor or just cleaning?

A3.) We would like all carpets cleaned, please.
