About this file
This evaluation criteria document from the State of Nebraska outlines the scoring framework for RFP 120782 O5 for Equine Urine and Blood Analysis services, with proposals due January 3, 2025, at 2:00 PM. The evaluation process requires mandatory elements including a signed Request for Proposal for Contractual Services form, Corporate Overview, Technical Approach, and Cost Proposal. The total possible points are 100, broken down into Corporate Overview (25 points), Technical Approach (55 points), and Cost Proposal (20 points), with an additional 10 points possible for oral interviews if required.
The cost proposal scoring utilizes a proportional formula where the lowest cost submission receives maximum points (20), with other proposals scored relative to the lowest cost using a mathematical formula. The formula divides the lowest cost submitted by the proposal cost being evaluated, then multiplies by the maximum possible cost points to determine the points awarded. The document includes example calculations demonstrating how the formula works with sample costs of $100,000, $150,000, and $200,000.
