Amendment 02

Pre-Bid Meeting Minutes 04/04/2019

Meeting began at 0900

Introductions – Present attendees and those on the phone

Attendees:

USFS: Rita Loper, Marion Danial, Anne Edwards, Tammy Maiolie, Charlies Hutchinson, Geoff Moore Contractors: Scott Rusho – Peak Sand & Gravel Rob Durette – Durette Construction Co, Inc.

Meeting:

Rita Loper, Contracting Officer, reviewed the contractual language and details within the solicitation:

- Explained the updates that will be made with Amendment Two of this solicitation

- Informed interested contractors that the budget has not yet been released and that the USFS is not anticipating any orders for the spring 2019 timeframe at this time.

Tammy Maiolie, Central Zone Road Manager, reviewed the specification language and details within the solicitation.

Contractor Questions/Answers:

Q: Is the expectation that the contractor will not be required to use a grid-roller to complete an awarded Task Order?

A: That is correct, the expectation is that the contractor will NOT be required to use a grid-roller.

Q: When is the earliest that a contractor should expect work to begin on an awarded Task Order?

A: The USFS is anticipating funding for the Fall 2019 grading projects.

Q: Should ALL lines be added together, and a Total listed at the bottom of each Schedule of Items, when submitting a quote for individual Ranger Districts (even if all the work won’t actually be completed at the same time)?

A: Yes, please provide a unit price and total for each line within the Schedule of Items, to include a Total cost at the bottom (for each Fiscal Year).
