About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers file (Part 4) for the Clerical Support Unit (CSU) solicitation 12024B25Q7002, providing clarifications on several key procurement details. The document addresses three primary questions: first, confirming that CSU units are responsible for providing their own internet connectivity as an operational necessity; second, affirming that a backup generator is acceptable for power supply as long as operations remain uninterrupted; and third, making a critical specification for Region 5 Dispatch Center locations, which must be limited to CA-ONCC or CA-OSCC. The last point is particularly important, as any response listing equipment for dispatch from alternative Region 5 locations will be required to change to one of these two locations or risk award disqualification.

Clerical Support Unit Answers to Common Questions – PART 4
1. Where in the solicitation is the requirement to provide internet solely for our trailer?
The "CSU solicitation 12024B25Q7002 Questions and Answers PART 2.docx" document Question 3 clarifies that CSU's are to provide their own internet connectivity. It is not directly mentioned in the solicitation because it is within the intent of D.1 Scope of Agreement (a) & (b). It is considered to be a necessity of operating other aspects of the unit.
2. Is the UPS system/line conditioner recommended or is a backup generator acceptable?
A back-up generator for this system is fine as long as the power supply is uninterrupted to the operations of the unit.
3. Region 5 Dispatch Center locations – A correction needs to occur to only allow CA-ONCC or CA-OSCC as Dispatch Center Locations for Region 5. This change will not be possible within the VIPR system at this point.
Any response listing equipment to be dispatched out of Region 5 MUST have a location of either CA-ONCC or CA-OSCC, any other locations will be asked to be changed to one of these two locations or an award will not be made.
