EXHIBIT 7 – MOVING MAP SOFTWARE / HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS

(a) Display Screens: All display screens for sensor imagery and mapping shall be touchscreen capable, high definition 1080P or better. All will be capable of showing the moving map, EO/IR sensor imagery and both moving map and sensor imagery using a split screen format. Each monitor will have the capability of viewing any of the 3 feeds using an input selector. The video display information when viewing the gimbal feed must demonstrate the pointing attitude of the sensor.

(1) Forward Observer Position: Monitor shall be a minimum of 15 inches diagonal and easily accessible to the observer and storable when not being used in an area free of flight controls but within reach of the observer position.

(2) Sensor Operator Position: There shall be two monitors installed at the sensor operator position. These monitors shall be a minimum of 15 inches and display sensor imagery or mapping imagery or both (selectable by the user).

(b) Digital Recorder: Video imagery is recorded as part of the Intel package. The moving map system must be capable of a start and stop function for video collection the system must be capable of capturing HD imagery from all sensors with voice narration when needed. A digital recorder that can record the IR/EO sensor video and audio from the right front seat audio panel selected radios and intercom system must be installed and operable. The digital recorder must record the data on portable USB 2.0 or better external drives. The portable drives will be provided by the government. Video recordings must contain KLV encoded data for use in creating perimeter shapefiles from other government officials that receive the information.

(c) Moving Map: A moving map must work integrally with the Gimbal. The moving map will display topographic and street data and must be capable of uploading user specific (incident) geoPDF or GeoTIF files. The moving map must display the location of the aircraft and point on the map where the gimbal is pointing on the ground. The map database will include the data necessary for operations in the lower 48 US States. The moving map must be capable of presenting in 2D and 3D as selected by the operator for situational awareness and enhanced incident awareness depicting topographic conditions.

(d) Workstation: A keyboard and mouse/trackball independent of each other shall be supplied at the Sensor Operator Station. The station must be configured in a location that the sensor operator can remain seated with seatbelt fastened and ergonomically efficient for flights lasting 5-8 hours)

Note: The US Forest Service is the sole owner of any data (documents, imagery, audio, etc.) collected during any contracted mission and maintains complete control of use and distribution. All external uses must be preapproved and expressed in writing.
