| Cell1: I wish to advise a new USPS postage meter indicia security requirement that must be met by December 2024. Current indicia requirements were called IBI, but there is a new indicia standard defined and required by the USPS during the contract term. Per Federal Register Document Citation 85 FR 78234, Page 78234-78235, CFR: 39 CFR 51, Document Number 2020-26129 ….All PES that are not IMI-PC compliant… will become decertified Postage Evidencing Systems on June 30, 2024…..the decertified Postage Evidencing Systems must be withdrawn from service by December 31, 2024. https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2020/12/04/2020-26129/authorization-to-manufacture-and-distribute-postage-evidencing-systems |
Because the period of performance of this contract includes the decertification timeline, shall the proposed online postage solution be IMI-PC compliant at initial installation and throughout the contract Base Year and Option Years to satisfy USPS security standards?
