The district is seeking qualified vendors to provide project management and turnkey installation of cafeteria decor for its 300 schools serving approximately 140,000 students. The scope of work requires customized interior design services, including artwork, wall wraps, window clings, signage, and other decor elements that integrate each school's specific theme (such as athletics, academics, STEM, or arts) with the Food and Child Nutrition Services' messaging of "Eat Smart. Eat Local. Go Green".
Pricing requirements include a comprehensive cost schedule with itemized pricing for all design elements, with vendors required to provide assembled pricing for each item and a catalog discount for items not specifically listed. The RFP specifies that proposals must include a total cost, with pricing to cover all aspects of the project including shipping, installation, site measurements, design approvals, and walkthrough. The district emphasizes seeking unique, colorful designs that meet health, fire, and ADA codes, with designs tailored to individual school characteristics and a sample project floor plan not exceeding 6,000 square feet. Vendors must submit their current catalog and can provide varying discount percentages across different product lines.
