General Services Administration (GSA)

Questions and Answers—Two

RFQ#10PSPR-15-0025—LPOE LED Lighting Project

1. After the successful installation of a LED bulb that works off a MH or HPS ballast, who will be responsible for the removal, replacement and installation of a new MH or HPS ballast if it dies within the warranty period of the LED Bulb?

GSA Response: The General Services Administration will be responsible for any ballasts that may die during the warranty period for the LED Bulb. That being said the preference is for the bulbs to bypass the ballasts, if feasible and cost-effective.

2. Are you requiring a bid bond or insurance?

GSA Response: Neither bid bonds nor insurance are required for this project, as it is going to be a firm-fixed price supply contract.
