Key work activities include hazardous materials abatement in accordance with MIOSHA and DEQ regulations per the attached Pre-Demolition Compliance Survey, removal of one curb cut and entry approach (15 lineal feet), installation of 28 lineal feet of curb and gutter with potential road asphalt cutting and hot patch repair, removal and replacement of 20 lineal feet of damaged public sidewalks, removal of all trees and brush from the north and east fence lines with low hanging branch trimming up to 12 feet above grade, removal of vines and vegetation, removal of chain link fencing on three sides extending approximately 24 feet west of the garage, removal of a large rock in the right-of-way area, and complete site regrading to blend with surrounding grades. The contractor must compact all clean backfill material using appropriate equipment and verify that neighboring water and sewer services remain operational upon completion.
The document references enclosed water and sewer service records for location and special instructions regarding shared services. All work must comply with applicable state and local regulations, and the contractor assumes responsibility for identifying and protecting existing utilities. No specific pricing terms, response dates, or award information is provided in this special conditions document, which serves as the basis for solicitation of bids from qualified contractors.
