About this file
This document is a request for bid (RFB) issued by the Pearl Public School District (PPSD) for an infrastructure project to upgrade the district's network switching infrastructure. The project includes the procurement of Cisco Catalyst 9200L switches and associated components such as stacking kits for the independent data frame (IDF) closets at various PPSD school sites. The district is seeking bids from qualified vendors that meet specific requirements, including having a valid E-Rate SPIN number and being authorized to sell the proposed equipment by the manufacturer. Bids must be submitted by 10:00 AM on December 3, 2024, and a public bid opening will be held on the same day. The district reserves the right to reject all bids.
The pricing proposed in this bid process shall remain firm throughout the 2025-2026 E-Rate cycle. If awarded, the district will pay the vendor the discounted rate, and the vendor shall invoice the E-Rate fund. The district reserves the right to reject the bid at a later time, depending on funding availability. This project is intended to be funded through the E-Rate program, and the winning vendor will be responsible for providing the district with an "Intent to Buy" or "Purchase Contract" for the purpose of uploading into the E-Rate EPC Portal.
