About this file

This document outlines the details for a bid solicitation issued by the Pearl Public School District (PPSD) for an infrastructure project to upgrade the district's independent data frame network switching infrastructure. The project involves the procurement of Cisco Catalyst 9200L switches and related equipment for the district's various school locations, including the Pearl Early Childhood Education Center, Pearl Lower Elementary School, Pearl Northside Elementary School, Pearl Upper Elementary School, Pearl Junior High School, and Pearl High School. The bid requires vendors to have a valid E-Rate SPIN number and authorization from the manufacturer of the proposed equipment. Bids are due by 10:00 AM on December 3, 2024, and a public bid opening will be held on the same day. The winning vendor will be responsible for providing an "Intent to Buy" or "Purchase Contract" to support the district's E-Rate application.

The bid pricing is expected to remain firm throughout the 2025-2026 E-Rate cycle, and the district will pay the vendor the discounted rate, with the vendor invoicing the E-Rate fund directly. The district reserves the right to reject the bid due to funding availability. Vendors are not required to attend the bid opening in order to be awarded the contract.
