Treasury Standard Form – 1014 (Rev 9/23)

Prescribed by Treasury: DTAP 1016.505 ongoing criminal investigations.

In conjunction with accomplishing their law enforcement mission, IRS CI Digital Forensics must support execute law enforcement IP and cellular intercepts. Typically, these intercepts are header only, containing the “to” and “from” in a conversation. In addition, once data is collected, a tool designed to handle large quantities of “header” captures is utilized to provide an analytical view of the data. The collection tool must handle different formats such as CBIS and data streams implemented to support CALEA. Pen-Link PLX supports both the collection and the analytical portion. In addition, it supports CBIS, SIP, and CALEA streams.

PLX supports both telephone and internet, historical and live data. PLX supports both communications collection and analysis needs in one unified platform.
