About this file
This document is an addendum to a state and local contract opportunity related to the design and installation of theatrical lighting and audio-visual (AV) systems for an Esports Venue project.
The addendum outlines the scope of work for the theatrical lighting and AV systems, including the selection and design of equipment, layout and analysis, coordination with the building renovation contractor, and the installation of all required power and low-voltage cabling. The contractor is responsible for the theatrical lighting system, while the house lighting is being provided by a separate contractor. The addendum also specifies the electrical requirements for the theatrical lighting and AV systems, including the capacity of the dimmer panel and the number of dedicated circuits. Additionally, the addendum provides requirements for the wiring and cable installation, including the use of rigid EMT conduit and surface raceways for exposed wiring. The awarded bidder must submit drawings for review and approval by the Owner and the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) before proceeding with the work.
