Statement of Work

Project White Sulphur Springs HVAC Replacement

General Information

1.0 Scope of Work

The following project shall include the removal and disposal of the existing furnace system. The project shall include the installation of new replacement components equal to or exceeding the original unit performance and specifications.

Existing components include two (2) each of gas furnace/evaporator unit, condensing unit, DX coil, and programmable thermostats. See Photographs below attachment “White Sulphur RD Office Original HVAC and Electrical Plans” for information on the existing components.

2.0 Background

The White Sulphur Springs office currently has a 2-zone heating system with each zone having its own heating unit, condensing unit, and thermostat. These units were original to the building in 1989. See attachment “White Sulphur RD Office Original HVAC and Electrical Plans”. AHU #2 is currently inoperable, and AHU #1 is working.

Contractor Requirements

3.0 Technical Requirements / Tasks

Contractor shall be licensed in the state of West Virginia and maintain liability insurance. All work must comply with applicable electrical and building codes. All applicable codes will supersede any other documentation or requirements provided.

4.0 Government Furnished

Government shall furnish access to the facility during regular business hours (Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5pm), as well as restroom facilities onsite. One week notice is necessary prior to any onsite work, to ensure access to the facility is available. No work shall be permitted on weekends or on federal holidays without the written permission of the CO. Any government provided property shall be returned prior to payment of the final invoice.

5.0 Deliverables / Schedule

Existing Furnace Components

Remove all existing components, connections, and controls for the existing HVAC system. All demoed materials shall be removed from the project site and legally disposed of off Government property in an approved landfill.

End of Period of Performance

0002 Install New HVAC Components

Install new HVAC components and connect to existing building ductwork, gas supply, and electrical system.

Contractor is responsible for supplying replacement components equal to or exceeding existing performance including two (2) each of gas furnace/evaporator unit, condensing unit, DX coil, and programmable thermostat.

Contractor is responsible to supply all material and labor necessary to install and connect these components to the existing ductwork, electrical, and gas systems.

Placement of all components as specified by the COR.

The system must meet all applicable electrical and building codes and be in working order upon completion of the installation.
