This Statement of Work from the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Billings Field Office details requirements for two 20,000-gallon ribbed, horizontal fiberglass storage tanks to replace an existing open pit water system servicing a BLM grazing allotment in partnership with Milton Ranch, LLC. The tanks will be used for non-potable livestock water storage.

The tanks must be manufactured to meet ASTM D3299, ASTM D4097, and AWWA D120 standards, with 100% resin and glass-fiber reinforcement (no sand fillers), minimum 0.375" structural wall thickness, and approximate dimensions of 12 feet diameter by 26 feet length. Key requirements include 30" flanged manways with extensions, 2" air vent fittings, 3" bottom dome nozzles, internal ladders, and the ability to withstand 5-psig air pressure testing. Delivery is required approximately 12 miles northeast of Roundup, MT with 10-day advance notice. The contractor is responsible for providing and transporting the tanks, though installation is not included in the scope. A one-year manufacturer's warranty is required.
