About this file
This document is a specification for storage shelving, providing detailed requirements for shelving units. The specification mandates each storage unit to be 84" tall with 2 back braces and 2 side braces per side, and requires 12" deep shelving to be wall-anchored. The shelving must use a clip system for attachment, with no bolt-on shelves permitted. Each section must include 5 shelves (top, bottom, and 3 additional) and have a minimum shelf capacity of 500 pounds. The units are to be gray in color and must be bid as an installed price.
The vendor will be required to assist in surveying and measuring areas requiring shelving units throughout the contract duration. While specific pricing, funding sources, and contract term details are not provided in this document, the specification clearly outlines the technical and installation requirements for the storage shelving. The comprehensive specifications suggest this is likely part of a competitive bidding process for a government, educational, or institutional procurement project.
