About this file

This is a Statement of Work for USCG MSRT West Q2/Q3 FY26 Tactical Training. The U.S. Coast Guard Maritime Security Response Team (MSRT) requires a vessel to support tactical training exercises during the second and third quarters of Fiscal Year 2026, with pierside training scheduled for March 10, 2026 (0800–1600 hours) and April 8, 2026 (0800–1600 hours) at Bold Horizon.

The contractor must provide a vessel meeting specific technical specifications: minimum length of 120 feet, at least 12 feet by 12 feet of open deck space, and minimum 15 feet of freeboard for hook and climb maneuvers. The vessel must be capable of transiting 10 nautical miles offshore and accommodate approximately 35 personnel serving as safety observers and evaluators. The deck area must be free of superstructures, antennas, and obstacles, with a flat freeboard presenting no obstruction to climbers and no hull lips or protrusions running the length of the ship. The vessel must contain multiple configurable interior spaces resembling a passenger ferry, including a bridge, engine room, machinery room, and passenger seating area. The training will include Close Quarters Combat tactics with Simmunitions, CBRNE scenarios, tactical combat casualty care, medical scenarios, mission planning, Hook and Climb Insertion, and FAST Rope operations. The Coast Guard requires full ship access to facilitate realistic team movement and must be permitted to employ Simmunitions throughout interior and exterior spaces.
