About this file
Bannock County has issued a Request for Information (RFI) for Small Engine & All-Terrain Vehicle Mechanic Services on November 13, 2025. The county is seeking information from potential service providers to better understand available mechanic services for their fleet of small-engine equipment used across multiple departments. The RFI requests detailed information about service capabilities, including types of engines serviced, diagnostic abilities, warranty repairs, pickup/delivery options, and emergency service availability. A site visit is scheduled for November 24, 2025, at 1:30 p.m., with potential providers required to pre-register by November 20, 2025. The RFI closing date is December 23, 2025, at 11:30 p.m. Local Time, with a deadline for questions on December 4, 2025.
The county is explicitly seeking comprehensive information from potential service providers, including company details, service capabilities, staffing and certifications, shop capacity, and pricing structures. Providers are asked to submit estimated or standard rates (noting this is not a bid), including hourly labor rates, standard service packages, diagnostic fees, and pickup/delivery charges. Additional requested information includes past public-sector clients, value-added services, and recommended contract models such as annual service agreements or on-call arrangements. The RFI emphasizes that it is not a solicitation for services, and no contract will be awarded directly from these submissions, but rather the information will be used to develop a future solicitation and understand the regional service landscape.
