The plan outlines guidelines for rehabilitation and most importantly guidelines for new construction. As such, the Conservation Guidelines of the Over-the-Rhine should be consulted when crafting a proposal. For more information concerning the Conservation Guidelines for the Over-the- Rhine Historic District, visit: https://www.cincinnati-oh.gov/planning/historic-conservation/local-conservation-guidelines/over-the-rhine-historic-district/.

Connected Communities "Connected Communities" is the name given to a package of zoning and land-use policy reforms put forward by Mayor Aftab Pureval and former Councilmember Reggie Harris and Council member Jeff Cramerding in partnership with the Department of City Planning and Engagement. The policies were approved by City Council on June 5, 2024, and went into effect on July 1, 2024.
