Chromebook. A total of 3.661 Chromebooks. Device models include
Lenovo and Dell.
o Staff Devices: All staff members are issued standard computing devices, typically MacBooks (specifically, procurement is underway for

Any Other Relevant Technology Details o E-Rate Funding Model: The organization is leveraging E-Rate
Category 2 funding, qualifying for an 85% federal reimbursement rate to minimize the cost of major infrastructure upgrades.
o Hardware Acquisition Strategy: For the network upgrade, the district is adopting a Hardware as a Service (HaaS) model (or Managed
Internal Broadband Services/MIBS), shifting lifecycle responsibilities
(management, refresh) to the provider and avoiding large capital purchases (e.g., avoiding a $30k+ upfront firewall purchase).
o Data Architecture: The data team operates an ELT pattern (Extract, Load, Transform), utilizing Google BigQuery as the data warehouse and dbt for data modeling and transformation.
o Rostering: Automated rostering and data flows are used to connect
SIS data to educational applications like Clever (for educational applications and Google Workspace provisioning) and DeansList (for daily attendance).
