NOTICE

The District is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide distribution and delivery for child nutrition foodstuff and/or related items. Delivery will be to the District’s Central Kitchen and several school sites. It is the intent of the District to have a single source supplier for the contract duration; however, the District reserves the right to award multiple contracts if it is in the best interest of the District.

Service will be based upon the proposer’s ability to meet the District’s requirements for both storage and the ability to distribute purchased products to District sites and on timely schedules.

This Request for Proposals (RFP) document and the preferred respondent’s proposal will become the basis for a contract under which the successful proposer will provide the District with the goods/services outlined therein. The District reserves the right to negotiate all final terms and conditions of any contract entered into with the successful proposer.

The District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any irregularities therein.

The District may reject any proposal that does not conform to the instructions herewith.

Proposals are to be verified before submission, as they cannot be corrected after proposals are opened. Proposers shall fully inform themselves as to all existing conditions and limitations. No allowance will be made because of lack of such examination, inquiry, or knowledge.

Euna Procurement Portal (https://conejousd.bonfirehub.com/portal/?tab=openOpportunities) by no later than Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at 2:00 PM (PT). Any questions which, in the opinion of the District, warrant a reply or material changes to the scope of work or proposal procedures will only be transmitted in writing to the parties receiving this RFP.

Inquiries received after the specified date and time will not be accepted.

1.5 A proposer may withdraw their proposal by written request at any time before the

RFP deadline.

1.6 Any proposal received after the RFP deadline shall be refused.

Discounts, when given, will be figured from date of receipt of accurate invoices, provided complete delivery and acceptance of the order has been made. If delivery date is later than date of receipt of invoice, billing date will coincide with delivery and acceptance date.

1.9 The item quantities appearing in the Pricing spreadsheet are estimates only. It is understood that the scheduled quantities of items to be furnished may be increased, decreased, or omitted without in any way invalidating proposal pricing.

1.13 Veracity of pricing submitted with proposal is the sole responsibility of the proposer.

1.14 In the event of a difference between written words and figures, the amount stated in written words shall govern.

1.15 In the event of a difference, error, or discrepancy between the unit price of an item and its extended price, the unit price shall govern.

1.16 Any proposer offering a brand other than those specified in the Pricing spreadsheet (i.e. proposing an “equal” or “equivalent” brand) shall furnish specification sheets, product information, and other pertinent literature with their proposal.
