About this file

This is a pricing sheet for a competitive proposal to provide Electric Motor and Pump Repair Services to the Facilities Department of George Mason University in Virginia under RFP GMU-CM0224-26. The proposal request solicits bids for comprehensive repair services including both on-site and in-shop labor, parts procurement, and the purchase of pumps and motors from various manufacturers. The contract structure encompasses four distinct pricing components: parts markup percentages for repair-related materials, labor rates for both regular and overtime hours, and discount rates for original equipment manufacturer (OEM) pumps and motors.

The pricing sheet requires bidders to propose a percentage markup for parts used in conjunction with repairs, which shall remain firm throughout the contract duration, with the University retaining the right to request documentation substantiating actual parts costs. Labor rates must be provided for four categories: on-site regular-time labor (Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) and on-site overtime labor (after-hours, weekends, and holidays), estimated at 10 hours each, as well as in-shop regular-time and overtime labor at 20 hours each. Bidders must also provide percentage discounts for ten specified OEM manufacturers including TACO Pumps, Aurora Pumps, B&G Pumps, Tiger Flow Pumps, Xlem Inc., Goulds Pumps, Baldor Motors, Reliance Motors, WEG Motors, and US Motors, with the option to propose additional manufacturers. The estimated quantities and hours are provided for evaluation purposes only and do not guarantee minimum or maximum contract volumes.
