About this file
This is an amendment document related to a contract for the Utah State Board of Education (USBE) for the DLI (Dual Language Immersion) program under contract number USBE-SD26503-SS. The document outlines USBE's intent to award a contract without engaging in a standard procurement process, citing provisions under U.C.A. 63G-6a-802. The amendment appears to be associated with an Advantage Assessment contract and addresses modifications to existing terms or services. The notice establishes a challenge period during which qualified vendors can submit documentation demonstrating they meet or exceed the specifications or can provide comparable, equivalent, or superior procurement items. Interested vendors must submit detailed challenges including the contesting party's name, documentation of competing sources, evidence of comparable or better offerings, and comparative transitional cost analyses if applicable.
The justification for the non-standard procurement award and specific pricing terms, renewal options, contract duration, and funding sources are contained in the supporting documentation referenced in the notice. The amendment document serves as the formal notification mechanism under Utah procurement law to identify other qualified vendors before contract award finalization. The document does not specify an explicit response deadline, award date, or contract term within the provided excerpt, though these details would be included in the complete supporting documentation and purchasing agent specifications referenced in the notice.
