About this file

This document is a Bid Bond Requirements file for the Washington State Parks Department's Stuart Island State Park Reid Harbor Moorage Facility Improvements project (NW-C3914), distributed through the MRSC Bonfire Procurement Portal. The project involves comprehensive moorage facility improvements, including removing existing timber piers, gangways, and floats, and replacing them with new materials, removing an offshore floating dock, and replacing creosote dolphins with steel piles and steel-framed floats with grated decking.

The bid bond requirements specify that no bond is required for total bid amounts of $35,000 or less, while bids exceeding $35,000 must include a 5% bid bond. Bidders must submit an electronic copy of the bid bond through the MRSC Portal, with scanned PDF copies acceptable. The bid bonds for the three lowest bidders will be retained for 30 days or until contract execution, and all other bid bonds will be released within 15 days of bid opening. Bidders must maintain bid validity for 60 days from the bid opening date, and failure to provide a required bid bond will render the bid non-responsive.
