Following the evaluation phase, the District will negotiate fees with the highest-scoring firm(s) in accordance with Utah Code 63G-6a-1503.5(4).

The architectural fee will be determined through negotiation and is not required to be submitted with the RFSQ. The evaluation committee will score submissions using weighted criteria including compliance with SOQ instructions (10 points), firm qualifications and experience (15 points), strength of proposed team and individual references (25 points), past performance and references (25 points), and design ability with similar projects (25 points). The District requires proof of professional liability insurance with errors and omissions coverage of a minimum of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $3,000,000 annual aggregate limit. Firms must provide certification of non-debarment status and disclose any litigation or dispute resolution proceedings within the past ten years. The District reserves the right to contact references not specifically listed in the RFSQ and indicates potential future interest in using the final design for other junior high school rebuilds.
