About this file

This document is Exhibit B, Schedule A and B from a contract for traffic signal maintenance and related services, likely for a county or municipal government. The exhibit details personnel labor rates and equipment schedules for maintaining traffic signals across different signal quantity ranges (0-750 signals). The labor rates cover various roles including Operations Superintendent, Crew Leader, Traffic Signal Technicians (field and laboratory), and Traffic Signal Laborers, with different rates for straight time, overtime, and double time during day and night shifts.

The pricing structure includes maintenance categories such as tri-annual minor traffic signal maintenance, annual major traffic signal maintenance, and bi-annual major maintenance for pedestrian crossings, radar feedback, and decorative lights. The equipment schedule lists rental rates for various vehicles and specialized trucks (personnel vehicles, service trucks, boom/ladder trucks, etc.), with a material markup not exceeding 15% of supplier invoice prices. Additional services include installation of inductive loops, LED pedestrian indication upgrades, LED balls and arrows, and controller cabinet rentals. The document specifies that any unlisted equipment will be charged at current Caltrans equipment rates, with a four-hour minimum rental and portal-to-portal labor and equipment rates.
