About this file
This is an Exhibit A General Affirmations and Solicitation Acceptance form for the City of Hutto, a home rule municipality in Texas, related to a sealed bid solicitation for milling and hauling services on Brooklands Boulevard. The project requires contractors to mill 10 inches of asphalt, base, and subgrade across a 750 linear feet by approximately 50 linear feet wide area that is bisected by a median. The scope of work includes furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment; operating specialized milling equipment and trucks; covering associated dumping fees; and providing traffic control, cleanup, and compliance with city specifications. A mandatory field visit is required prior to bid submission, though no specific conference dates, response deadlines, or award timelines are detailed in this exhibit.
The document functions as a verification and compliance checklist rather than a pricing or financial document, requiring respondents to affirm accuracy of submitted information, valid Texas business authorization, and compliance with multiple state regulations including boycott prohibitions related to Israel, Sudan, Iran, firearms entities, and energy companies. Respondents must certify non-employment of undocumented workers, non-listing on state sanction lists, and completion of a Texas Ethics Commission Form 1295 conflict-of-interest disclosure. The exhibit does not address pricing terms, set asides, incumbent information, or funding sources, as these elements are addressed in separate solicitation documents.
